Bactoderm (pseudomonic acid A, or Bactroban or Centany) is an antibiotic originally isolated from Pseudomonas fluorescens. It is used topically, and is primarily effective against Gram-positive bacteria. Bactoderm is bacteriostatic at low concentrations and bactericidal at high concentrations.
