What is balanced and unbalanced force

When the resultant of all the forces acting on an object is zero, then the forces are said to be balanced. Balanced forces do not bring about any change in the state of motion of the object. However, they can change the shape of an object.

When the resultant of all the forces acting on an object is not zero, then the forces are said to be unbalanced. Unbalanced forces can change the state of motion as well as the shape of the object.
