Hi there!
BASICITY OF LOWRY ACID: The number of H+ ions furnished by a molecule as an acid is known as basicity of proticity of the acid.
The basicity of HCl is 1, CH3COOH is 1, H2SO4 is 2, etc.
Partial neutralisation of acids with basicity 2 or more gives acidic salts.
Examples are: NaHCO3, KHSO4, MgHPO4, etc.
Hope it helps!
