Bicardia, also known as bradycardia is generally thought of as a heartbeat with a normal sinus rhythm below 60 beats per minute.

Majority of people have a heartraye between 60 yo 100 beats per minute.

IF you have a normal sinus rhythm above 100 beats per minute, it's known as tachycardia.

Many athletes and some people with a genetic predisposition may have bradycardia which for them is completely normal.

However, it is always a good idea to get your heart checked by a cardiologist if you find your heart rate often or consistently lower than 60 beats per minute or more than 100 beats per minute.

Tachycardia is a fast heart rate — more than 100 beats per minute — that can either start in the heart's lower chambers (ventricles) or upper chambers (atria). At these elevated rates, the heart is not able to efficiently pump oxygen-rich blood to the rest of your body.
