Binomial expression means that expression contains two terms.
Let's take an example.
(1) 2x + 3.
It's a binomial expression cause it has two terms I.e 2x and 3.
(2) 5x²
It's a monomial expression cuz it has only one term I.e 5x².
Let's check another one
(3) 6x³+4x²+3x.
It's a trinomial cuz it has 3 terms I.e 6x³ , 4x² and 3x.
Hope you understand.
