binomial nomeclature is a type of naming system in which 2 names are used to define an organism.. such as a species names and a genra name. it is an extremely formal system of naming organisms accepted worldwide

for example..
Homo sapiens

always underline the names while writing in handwriting

and in italics while printing it..

this method of nomenclature was deciphered by Linnaeus.. ^_^
