Answer: Binomial system of nomenclature is the  system of nomenclature in which each species of animal or plant receives a name of two terms of which the first identifies the genus to which it belongs and the second the species itself.

We will write the name of the organism on the basis of  the Genus name and the species name.

For example-

Binomial name of Mango is "Mangifera Indica"

Genus- Mangifera

Species - Indica

Binomial name of Pine is "Pinus contorta"

Genus- Pinus

Species- Contorta
