Hey I have found a ans for u..⤵
Biogas is a biofuel produced from the anaerobic fermentation of carbohydrates in plant material or waste (eg food peelings or manure) by bacteria. It is mainly composed ofmethane, with some carbon dioxideand other trace gases.
Producing biogas gives many advantages for the environment, companies and people involved. The advantages are: Biogas is a green energy source in form of electricity and heat for the local grid. Considerable environmental advantages - less emission of the greenhouse gasses methane, CO2 and nitrous oxide..
hope it will help u...

Hey mate .....
here is ur answer........
Cow dung cake ,various plants materials like the residue after harvesting the crops, vegetables waste and sewage are decompose absence of oxygen to give Bio gas . It is also known as "gobar gas"
The plant has dome like structure built with bricks.A slurry of cow dung and water is made in mixing tank from where it is fed into the digester. The digester is a sealed chamber in which there is no oxygen. Anaerobic micro organism that do not require oxygen decompose or break down complex compounds of the cow dung slurry .It takes a few days for the decomposition process to be complete and generate gases like methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide . The bio gas is stored in the drawn through pipes for use .( see in figure)
Advantages of bio gas-
It contains up to 75% methane .
It burns without smoke.
It not release any poison gas.
It not cause any bad effect to ozone layer.
I hope its help u.......!!
please mark it as brainlist!?
