Biodiversity means it is the variety of life on earth. Biodiversity is nothing but living things or different species found in a certain environment. This is called biodiversity. They are part of the ecosystem.

• Forests considered biodiversity hot spots because they contain different species of plants and animals that are endangered with destruction.

• Mainly two factors are responsible for causing deforestation those are

1) Natural factors such as floods, drought, fire, earthquake, etc are caused by massive deforestation.

2) Agriculture, urbanization is also caused by deforestation.
