• Aristotle is regarded as Father of Biology.
• Biology is divided into three major branches-

➳ Zoology- It is the study of animal life. Aristotle is the father of Zoology.

➳ Microbiology- It is the study of microscopic organisms. Antony van Leeuwenhoek is the father of Microbiology.
