Binomial Nomenclature is a formal system of providing distinct scientific name two different living organisms in which each name consists of two parts genus and species.

Carolus linnaeus was the first to propose Binomial Nomenclature system to name species scientifically. Scientific names are composed of Latin or Greek words and it is pronounce universally in the same form.
For example scientific name of crow is corvus splendens.

Hope this helps!❤
