Biotic Components.

Biotic Components include all the living organisms present in the ecosystem, i.e. plants, animals and microorganisms.

The living organisms are interconnected with one another by various mechanism and slow interdependence on each other. These are primarily classified into different groups on the basis of their nutritional relationships.

On the basis of food they consume, the different living organisms can be categorised into three groups.

Three groups are:-

1. Producers.

2. Consumers.

3. Decomposers.
