Blastulation is the process following the morula and preceds the gastrulation. It entails clevage resulting in a blastula consisting of about 128 cells. It is marked by the presence of blastocoel.

Grastulation is a phase early in the embroynic development of most animals, during which the single layered blastula is reorganized into a multilayered structure known as grastula.
