What is blood? What are the components of blood? Also write the function of each component.

Blood is a liquid connective tissue.
The components of blood are W.B.C. , R.B.C. and Plasma.

W.B.C. protects our body from bacteria.
R.B.C. flows out waste from cell and transfer oxygen to cell.
Plasma helps the transfer of W.B.C and R.B.C. .

Blood is the fluid which flows in blood vessels . It is a liquid which has cells of various kinds suspended in it . The components of blood are :-

Plasma - it carries water and various materials like digested food , waste materials etc. from one part of the body to another .

Red blood cells - It con contain red pigment called hemoglobin . Hemoglobin binds with oxygen and transports in to all parts of the body . It also makes the blood appear red .

White blood cells - It fights against germs that may enter our body .

Platelets - the clot is formed because of the presence of another type of cells in the blood called platelets .
