Body mass index is used to check whether the person is underweight or overweight...

In this we take the weight of the person in kg... And divide it by the square of his height in metres... Hope helps

BMI means body mass index.

It is calculated by formula:weight/height²

If it is less tgan 18 means one is undernourished, if it is between 18 and 25 means it is normal. Greater than 25 means fat and above 30 are called obese.
