what is boiler scale ? pls anyone answer it i need it

boiler scale is a deposit that form directly on heat transfer surfaces that constituent solubility limits are exceeded and limited compounds precipitate on to the tube surface.such deposits may contain calcium , magnesium,iron and phosphate. A tenacious form of boiler scale results when calcium precipitate in the form of calcium carbonate.
