Bone Marrow

  • The tissue that makes up the center of big bones is known as bone marrow.
  • It is also the origin of fresh blood cell production.
  • The two varieties of bone marrow are "red marrow," which is primarily composed of hematopoietic tissue, as well as "yellow marrow," which is primarily composed of fat cells.
  • Blood cells, hemoglobin, and the majority of white blood cells are produced in the bone marrow.
