Boulder cleaving:

Boulder is a fragment of rock with size greater than 25.6 cm (10.1 in) in diameter.

• Smaller pieces are named cobbles and pebbles. While a boulder may be small sufficient to move or roll manually, others are extremely huge.

• In common, boulder is typically too large that a person cannot move it. Smaller boulders are typically just termed as rocks or stones.  

• Boulder can be cleaved by drilling a hole in it.
