BUOYANCY

⇒ Buoyancy is the force exerted by the liquid  in which a solid or an object is immersed .

⇒ The buoyancy is the force which is exactly opposite to the direction of the weight of the liquid.

⇒ The force of buoyancy is directly proportional to the depth of the liquid.

⇒ The more the depth the more is the force of buoyancy

⇒ The force of buoyancy is actually the weight of the displaced portion of the liquid.

⇒ When an object floats fully immersed , the weight of the object is equal to the force of buoyancy

⇒ Buoyancy also depends on the volume of the object immersed.

Hope it helps :-)
