▪ Answer :
There are three parts of small intestine :-
▪ CAECUM :-
In man, caecum is a small blind pouch situated at the junction of the small and large intestine, which ends into a tubular narrow vermiform appendix.

▪ COLON :-
It is much broader than the ileum. In man , it is differentiated into four regions as ascending colon on the right side extending upto the liver, transverse colon which crosses to the left just below the stomach, descending colon running downward on the left side and sigmoid or pelvic colon which is 'S'- shaped and opens in the rectum.
_______________________________
▪ RECTUM :-
It is the last dilated part about 13 cm long. It opens out by the anushree at the base of the trunk. Anus is guarded by the circular muscle sphincter.
