The best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are promoted to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are relegated to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings.

Hope it's help you

Answer:

Regelation is the phenomenon of melting under pressure and refreezing when the pressure is reduced. For the experiment, take a slab of wire and a metallic wire with 5 kg of blocks attached to it on either side. Put the wire over the glass slab as shown in the diagram.

It will be observed that the wire gradually penetrates and passes through the ice slab. This happens due to the fact that the ice melts at a lower temperature due to the increase in pressure just below the wire. The wire passes through the ice slab without splitting it. This phenomenon of refreezing is known as regelation.
