Answer:

The mesosphere is the third layer of the Earth . It extends from 50 km to 85 km .

The mesosphere is the layer of the earth where the small meteorites destroy or burn up . And the meteorites which are big than 50 to 100 m don't destroy because of their size and fell on the Earth .

The meteorites burn because of the friction created in the mesosphere by the gases .

Extra information:

▪︎There are 5 layers in the Earth -:

1. Troposphere = 0 to 20 km

2. Stratosphere = 20 to 50 km

3. Mesosphere = 50 to 85 km

4. Thermosphere = 85 to 700 km

5. Exosphere = 700 to 10000 km

▪︎The innermost layer of the Earth where we live is called Troposphere.

▪︎The othermost layer of the Earth is called Exosphere .

▪︎Stratosphere is the layer where the ozone layer of the Earth is present .

▪︎In the themosphere the satellite and the International space station (ISS) is present.
