grassland are windy and partly dry seas of grass.in many areas they separate forest from deserts.there few tress and shrubs in grassland.so in some region like Pappas in Argentina receives low rainfall .it cannot support dense forest but favour the growth of this grasses in the region.common grass are found in grassland so it is lush green and rich grass,which is used for fodder COWS and SHEEPS.
some areas there will not be thick grasses so it may be converted to PLAINS
