\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{ Capacitace\:}}

→ The ratio of charge to potential of a conductor is called its capacitance.

\rule{200}{4}

» If "q" be tha charge on a conductor and "v" be its potential , then its capacitance ,

c \: = \frac{q}{v}

» The unit of capacitance is farad (f).

» The capacitance of a conductor is said to be 1 farad , when a charge of 1 coulomb raise its potential through one volt.

→ ( Dimension formula ).

C = Q / V = It x It / W

= ( It )² / W

[C] = A² T² / M L² T^-2

= M^-1 L^-2 A².

Hope it helped u.
