Carbon Imperialism is a recent term which has come into publication. The term refers to the 21st Century phenomena in which the developed Western economies have started to curb their pollution have limited their carbon output.
They are also telling third -world developing economies to do so, which many do not like, simply because these developing countries believe that manufacturing and factories have moved to third world countries from the west
Many conspiracy theorist believe that developed world is trying to control the development of third world countries by using the excuse of pollution, hence the term carbon imperialism.
