The cell theory helps define life - all living things are made of cells, and the cell is the basic unit of structure and function of a living thing. The cell has all the processes of an organism inminiature ... digestion, respiration, reproduction. Cell theory basically states that all living things have cells

Hey mate

Cell theory in Biology is a historical theory which states that every living organism is made up of cells. It imposes that cells are the basic structural and functional units of life.

Importance :

Cell theory is considered as an important theory because it tells us what life is and how and from what life is made up of.

It is only through the cell theory that we came to know that ranging from a bacteria to the largest mammal that is whale every single living organism is made up of the smallest structure cell.

Hope this helps you
