Cell wall is the outer covering of the cell. Animal cell dont have cell wall only plant cells have cell wall.

• Main functions of cell wall is osmosis.
• It controls the movement of particles in and out of the cell.
• Cell wall is also called selectively permiable membrane.

The three different layers of cell wall are :-

1. Primary cell wall
2. Middle lamella
3. Secondary cell wall
