certain metabolic activities from where organisms obtain energy from organic molecules. these processes of breakdown and release of energy take place in the cell or tissues therefore known as cellular respiration. oxygen is needed which is supplied by the blood to the cell. CO2 (carbondioxide) is released after cellular respiration.
