Let the triangular lamina be divided into slim strips , such that each and every strip is parallel to the bottom. By means of symmetry, each and every strip has its centre of mass at its midpoint. Now allow us to join all the midpoints of all these strips. We get the median of the bottom. In a similar way if we can say that this point will lie on the become a member of of the aspects and will be the median of the sides of the other two facets of the triangle. Therefore the concurrence of the point will be the centre of mass, which is nothing but the centroid of the triangle.
