Hey mate..

Cerbrospinal fluid also known as CSF is the fluid present both in spinal cord as well as brain.
It protects the spinal cord and brain from trauma and provides a nourishment to the cells.It also removes waste from cerebral metabolism.

The ventricles,the central canal and the spaces between the meninges are filled with a protective fluid called Cerebrospinal fluid or CSF.
It's a nourishing and protective fluid.

Functions :

1) It's nourishes the brain.
2) It protects the brain by absorbing the mechanical shocks.
