chipko andolan when the contractor come to cut khejri trees and then women's come and hug the tree trunk to save the tree so to save the trees and they show their feelings the trees

Chipko andolan movement was started in the 1970's in the reni village of garhwal .They wanted to protect many trees by hugging the trees .It was started by the rajasthan bishnoi community.
