Function: aerenchyma facilitates aeration organs found in aquatic environments or waterlogged soils. Structurally it is a very efficient tissue, because it allows the flotation of certain organs and achieves its strength with a minimal amount of cells. Location : aerenchyma is typically found in aquatic angiosperms , which is a complex continuous system from the leaves to the root.

Function. The clorofiliano parenchyma is the photosynthetic tissue par excellence , chloroplasts are responsible for capturing light energy transforming it into chemical energy. Location. It is especially in the mesophyll of leaves , but also in young stems and generally in the green parts of the plant , sometimes even in the bone .
