Chlorophyll makes plants green. It's basically a group of green pigments used by organisms that convert sunlight into energy via photosynthesis. First used in 1819, the noun chlorophyll derives from the Greek words khloros, meaning "pale green" and phyllon, meaning "a leaf."
FUNCTIONS
1.Chlorophyll is vital for photosynthesis, which allows plants to obtain energy from light. Chlorophyll molecules are arranged in and around the membranes of chloroplasts. It serves two main functions.
2. Chlorophyll is used for bad breath and reducing colostomy odor
3.The nutrients found in chlorophyll include vitamin B, D, & E, calcium, and potassium, which are key for healthy hair and nail growth
