what is chlorophyll? what part does chlorophyll play in photosynthesis

chlorophyll is a green pigment present in plant leaves as you know plants also need energy to do photosynthesis so chlorophylls work is to absorb energy from the sunlight so that it can use it for glucose production or for making oxygen

chlorophyll are the small green pigment present on the leaves they help to trap sunlight for the process of photosynthesis..
without chlorophyll you can't see the process of photosynthesis in a plant..
