chromatography is a process of separation of a mixture. it is used for separation of those solutes that dissolve in the same solvent. for example- to separate colours of dye or drugs form blood.

Chromatography is the process through which different dyes of a color can be obtained.It is a separation technique to obtain various colored dyes .
For example(we did it in lab):
Make a mark with a sketch on a blotting paper.
After leaving it undisturbed for some time , it is noticed that due to capillary action; the different color constituencies separate due to the rate of solubility
ORANGE COLOR SEPARATES INTO RED AND YELLOW.
