A circuit is a network consists of a closed loop making a return path for the current through a switch. When the switch is closed the current flows from the higher potential to the lower potential.

A circuit must follow some laws in order not to break or malfunction. These laws are Kirchhoff’s current and voltage laws, Ohm’s law, Norton’s theorem and few more laws.

The most basic components that are connected to get a desired output are resistors, inductors and capacitors.

Apart from these components a lot of others are also used.

For more simplified circuit and for complicated connections diode, transistors and IC’s are used.

A circuit is analysed and synthesised with above mentioned laws and connecting components at the right places.
