hi friend
here's your answer looking for

let's first understand what is circular motion?

Circular motion :- When the body travel in circular orbit, then its motion is called as circular motion.

in circular motion at every point the body needs to change its direction, because according to the first law of motion, the body will try to maintain its speed and direction.

and in order to maintain that direction, the body will slow down in circular motion.

but when there is circular motion, to avoid this slow down of the speed the body must be accelerated.

it means that when the body travels in circular motion then it continuously accelerated. So, we can say that uniform circular motion is a accelerated motion.
