Two numbers are coprime if their highest common factor (or greatest common divisor if you must) is 1. You can have the set of positive integers which are coprime to a given number: for example those coprime to 12 are 1,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,25, and so on.

two integers a and b are said to be relatively prime, mutually prime, or coprime (also written co-prime) if the only positive integer (factor) that divides both of them is 1. Consequently, any prime number that divides one does not divide the other.
