1) they r turbid , hetrogeneous mixture in which particles i.e dispersed substances exist in an intermidiate state between -molecules or ions of a true solution and that of a suspension.2)the particles in a collidal solution are nt visible to the naked eye - can pass to filter paper but cannot diffuse through a semi permeable membrane - can be seen under the ultra microscope and do nt settle down.
