hi friend
here is your answer!!
In chemistry, a colloid is a mixture in which one substance of microscopically dispersed insoluble particles is suspended throughout another substance. ... The dispersed-phase particles have a diameter between approximately 1 and 1000 nanometers.A colloidal solution, occasionally identified as a colloidal suspension, is a mixture in which the substances are regularly suspended in a fluid. A colloid is a minutely small material that is regularly spread out all through another substance.
hope it helps you!!!
THANKYOU!!!

☺☺THE COLLOID is a KIND OF SOLUTION in which the size of solute particles is bigger THAN THAT of true solution but smaller than that of a suspension . It is also know as colloidal solution . The size of solute particles in a COLLOID is in between 1NM to 100 Nm . The particles of a COLLOID do not separate out or settle down on keeping . EXAMPLES- milk , INK , BLOOD , soup solution and starch solution

colloidal solution is a heterogeneous in nature and its consists of two phases
1) Dispersed PHASE
2)Dispersion medium
Dispersed PHASE- it is the component present in small proportion and consist of particles colloidal dimension .
Dispersion medium- THE SOLVENT LIKE MEDIUM in which COLLOIDAL particles are dispersed dis called Dispersion medium.
The different types of COLLOIDAL SOLUTION are POSSIBLE depending upon the physical state of two phases 1) Dispersed PHASE and
2)Dispersion medium☺☺☺☺☺
