Hi friend,
Combustion is a chemical process by which fuel burns in presence of oxygen and giving off heat and light in form of flame. The substances with is burnt and produces heat and light are called combustible substances.
For example- Petrol,diesel,kerosene,etc.
Combustion is of 3 types-:
Rapid combustion- Combustion in which a great amount of heat and light is released.Like burning of petrol.
Spontaneous combustion- Combustion which occurs without any apparent cause.Like forest fires.
Explosion- Uncontrollable.Like from crackers.
•Flame is the glowing part of fire.
Flame has three parts-
Inner part
Outer part
Middle part
