A commercial crop is a crop grown for commercial purpose that is for earning profits. The main characteristic of this crop is that there is huge doses of modern inputs like high yielding variety(HYV) seeds, chemical  fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides put in this crop in order to obtain higher productivity.

Eg:- Tea, Coffee, Rubber, Sugarcane, Banana, etc.
