what is common in 'Ramayana and Mahabharata

Mahabharata?I know that Hanuman is mentioned in Mahabharata, when he encounters Bhima during his quest for a celestial flower.

And I think Parshurama is a character in both as well.
In Ramayana : He gifts the bow to Janaka(which Rama breaks in Sita's Suyamvara)
In Mahabharata : Fights with Bhishma over his vow(or I think; don't remember much of this)

1. Shiv dhanush is common in both epics.
    Mahabharat: During drupadi swayamvar
    Ramayana: During Sita swayamvar.

2. In both epics, Pandavas and Rama who always follows dharam marg exiled for years of vanvas.

3. In both epics, victory leads to those who established dharma.

4. Both epics deal with the mistreatment of women that leads to war.
