scalar quantities r those physical quantities which r completely described by their magnitude only
eg.length ,mass ,time ,distaance ,speed ,temperature ,energy ,pressure ,work ,etc..
vector quantities r those physical quantities which r completely described by both magnitufe and direction and which can b added according to vector addition rule.
eg.displacement ,velocity ,acceleration ,forse , momentum ,torque etc..
thus the components in scalars r:
----------------------------------------------
*magnitude
components in vectors r :
----------------------------------
*magnitude
*direction
