A) Computer is an electronic device that was once used for 'computing', but now it's multi-purpose.

A) - First, it was only meant for computing, that is, to calculate large sums.

- We can play games there.
- We can play music

- It reduces socialising
- It becomes so addicting.
- it's misuse in various ways is a huge disadvantage.

- MICROCOMPUTER :
It's slow and has relatively less storage compacity. It is small in size.
- MINICOMPUTER : Minicomputer is much larger one. It's often referred to as midrange computers.
> MAINFRAME COMPUTERS
- MAINFRAME computer are very large, often filling an entire room. They can store a lot of information.
> SUPER COMPUTERS.
Super computer is one if the many types of modern computing machines which are big, powerful, and are capable if doing big calculations.

> FIRST GENERATION COMPUTERS - VACCUM TUBE BASED COMPUTERS
First generation was characterised by Vacuum tubes. The first generation computers were built to solve physcis equations. It used Machine language .
> SECOND GENERATION COMPUTER - TRANSISTOR BASED COMPUTERS
- 1960s, TRANSISTOR based computers replaced vaccum tubers which marked the second generation of computers. It used Assembly level languages.
> THIRD GENERATION COMPUTERS - INTEGRATED CIRCUIT BASED COMPUTERS.
- Integrated circuit based computers marked the 3rd generation of computers. Small transistors where placed on silicon chips , called semiconductors. It is based on high level languages.
> FOURTH GENERATION COMPUTERS - MICROPROCESSOR
- They facilitated automation of industrial process and office. Microprocessor is compact and easy to maintain. It has a high processing speed. However, it hasimitations of size of data.
> FIFTH GENERATION COMPUTERS - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
- They are going to start. They are going to be based on the principles of artificial intelligence and natural language recognition. This technique is used to design tubes
