Condom is a synthetic plastic worn by male or female on their sexual organ during sexual intercourse, which use to act as preventive barrier, and it prevents sperm to reach the ova, which in turn prevent fertilization. The female condom is a thin sheath or pouch worn by a woman during sex which completely lines the vagina. It is a kind of contraceptive device that prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. It physically block the semen containing sperms from entering the female's body.

The male condom is also a thin sheath worn by males on penis as means of birth control and to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
