Conduction is a procedure by which warmth or power is legitimately transmitted through the material of a substance when there is a distinction of temperature or of electrical potential between abutting locales, without development of the material.

  • In a simple way conduction is process in which is engery transfers(heat or an electric charge)through a substance.
  • It occurs when the temperature of the molecules increase.

Some examples of conduction of heat are as follow

1) When a heating pad is applied to you directly and warms your muscles.

2)Accidentally when you touch a hot pot.
