conservation of energy means energy can neither be destroyed or produced by a system
but it transforms into other forms of energy
e.g : when you rub ur hands ur mechanical
energy is converted into heat enrgy and u feel
warm
when a cup breaks its potiential energy
changes into heat and sound energy anf u hear breaking voice

Heyaa folk,
According to the law of conservation of energy, energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. It can only be changed from one form to another.
The total energy before and after the reaction remains the same.
When a metal ball deforms due to inelastic collision, the energy is converted to sound energy.
The energy before collision = The energy after collision + Q
Where Q is the form of energy.

Hope this helps ya!!!
