Coronary heart disease is a disease that is caused due to malfunctioning of heart wherein the blood supply to the heart muscles reduces leading to reduced supply of oxygen to it. This can lead to a temporary pain in the chest. Hardening of arteries which supply bloud to the heart muscles cause this disease.
