Corpora quadrigemina: They are four solid lobes on the dorsal portion of the midbrain. It forms the ceiling of the mid brain. It is also called as tectum. It controls auditory and visual responses.

Corpus callosum is located underneath the cerebrum at the centre of the brain. It is a thick band of nerve fibres that divides the cerebrum into left and right hemispheres of the brain and allowing for communication between them.
